The National Building Museum is located in Washington, DC dedicated to American achievements in architecture, urban planning, construction, engineering and design. It features an interactive, hands-on exhibition that looks at the growth and development of the Washington. It also has a LEGO exhibit. It’s a great museum for kids. For more information click here.

Pricing: Admission is free, but a $5 donation is suggested. 

Transportation: Metered parking is available, but will likely be filled on weekends. Metro is the best way to access the museum. Take the Red Line to the Judiciary Square station. The museum is across the street.
