National Cherry Blossom Festival

Washington, DC

877-44BLOOM (442-5666)

March 26 – April 10, 2011

The National Cherry Blossom festival  is an annual two-week event that celebrates springtime and the gift of the cherry blossom trees from Japan. We’re a bit early in the season for average peak bloom, but with luck (and an early spring!) the cherry blossoms might be starting to bloom around the Tidal Basin by March 27.

Keep an eye on the anticipated bloom date here.
